2 February 2016 - Plan, Propel, Prosper

To welcome 2016 Chinese New Year, we came out with the theme “Plan, Propel, Prosper”.

Plan your life - When was the last time you took a moment to sit down alone and just think about your life, what you have done and what you still hope to do?  Power off all of the distracting devices you own, ditch your phone for a little while and devote a few minutes to determining what truly matters to you. Are you happy with the path you have chosen for yourself? Now, based on that answer, what can you do to change or maintain your situation?

Propel in life - I always believe that one of life’s most beautiful purposes is to continue to grow and learn as we walk through our paths of life. Every situation, every relationship, and even every hardship teaches us lessons that make us into the amazing people that we are meant to be. Sometimes, we can get so determined to grow and progress in life that we can actually notice when we feel stuck or in a rut. However, despite all these difficulties, there are a lot of ways to keep propelling your life forward, even when it feels hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Always remember, life is all about the journey, not the destination, live your live to the fullest every moment and you will have no regrets.

Prosper in life - Prosperity teachers teach that if we give, God will in turn give back more to us than we have given. Practice giving & forgiving in life , I believe will bring us endless prosperity in life. Just like this toastmaster, my journey here has been a prosper one and continue to be!

The evening was gracefully kicked off by our dedicated IPP, Chor Chee Hoe, ACS, ALB as the Toastmaster of the evening.

We started an Induction Ceremony to welcome our newest member, Carrie Ooi.
