At our recent club contest held on 16 March, we witnessed 10 speeches from 7 contestants. Two were crowned as our International Speech Contest winner and Table Topics winner respectively. Congratulations to Freddie & Tom !
Both Freddie and Tom will represent our club at our Area W7 contest, competing against the other winners of Area W7 clubs. It will be an interesting evening for sure. The details of this contest are as follows:
Event: Area W7 ISTT Contest
Date: Thursday 8 April 2010
Time: 7.00 PM
Venue: Multipurpose Hall, Tiffani Kiara,
No. 1, Changkat Duta Kiara, Off Jalan Duta Kiara,
Mont Kiara, 50480 Kuala Lumpur
(opposite CIMB bank, Solaris Mont Kiara)
Attached is the location map to the contest venue.
Please join us at Mont Kiara on 8 April. Do let me know by Monday April 5, whether you will be attending this event. Dinner will be provided and confirmation of your attendance is necessary for us to prepare enough food for all guests. We hope many Friendship members will attend to support, cheer and applaud our FTMC contestants.
