Friendship Toastmasters Club had an exciting,
engaging and entertaining Humorous Speech
And Evaluation Contest on August 7, 2012. The contest was diligently organized
and chaired by our VPE Daphne Au as the Evaluation Contest Chair, and VPPR Ian
Tai as the Humorous Speech Contest Chair.
For the Humorous Speech contest, five brave
souls stepped out to compete – IPP Angeline Lee, Moses Wong, Sivadas, Alexandra
Lau and Timothy Nakayama. All contestants had us laughing at the humorous parts of their speeches. Well done contestants!
For the Evaluation Contest, our Test Speaker Lee Siew Li from HELP
University Toastmasters Club, shared a strong message with us, to be “HAPPY” with
our life. Once again, five evaluators were competing. They were none other than
IPP Angeline Lee, Moses Wong, Alexandra Lau, Timothy Nakayama and Ian Tai who
gave their best in pointing out the good, the “less-than-good” and more
importantly, suggestions for improvements.
